The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently playing a very important regular season game against the Washington Capitals. Midway through the first period, Mark Giordano ripped a shot past the Capitals goalie putting the Maple Leafs up 1-0.

Mark Giordano pointed to the sky after opening the scoring for the #leafs tonight. This is only the *third game he's played since his father, Paul, died in mid-February.
