Sheldon Keefe reveals William Nylander's status for game 3
The Toronto Maple Leafs' head coach Sheldon Keefe revealed William Nylander's status for game three against the Boston Bruins.
In a press conference, Keefe shared a new update on the Swedish star forward:
"Well, obviously there's no update today. There's not much happening for us today except for getting ready to travel, but there's a possibility for us tomorrow, I guess, is all we would say."
Keefe said the same thing about Nylander's status for game 2, but in the end, he didn't play.
After last night's big win in Boston, the Leafs' players proved that they don't need him to beat the Bruins. However, with the way that Mitch Marner and John Tavares played since the playoffs started, they could really use a guy like Nylander. He could be the key piece to make everyone else on the ice better, and that's what a team needs in the playoffs.
