Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Matt Murray is reportedly set to discuss a possible return to the NHL with his personal surgeon. This news further complicates the Leaf's goalie situation as they are already carrying three netminders.
Murray discusses possible return this season
According to Toronto Maple Leafs reporter Nick Barden, Matt Murray will be meeting with his surgeon in approximately ten days to discuss his possible return to the NHL. This comes just after reports that the Maple Leafs goalie could possibly make a return to the NHL in early April. The Leafs' last game of the regular season will be on April 17th when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Murray has not played at all this season. His last game came last season when he got into 26 contests with the Leafs. He had a 14-8-2 record with the team, boasting a modest 3.01 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage.
Amid Matt Murray's return to practice and reports he hopes to play this season, we've got another great video breakdown session with the Toronto Maple Leafs goalie, who quickly established himself as a favourite in the Pro Read format:

Both Jones and Woll have put up respectable numbers this season while Ilya Samsonov has been fantastic since his recall from the AHL in January.
