Bald Leafs? Toronto Players' New Look Has Fans Losing It

Thanks to LeafsLatest on X, we got a glimpse into what the Maple Leafs team would look like without hair and safe to say: Some pull it off a bit better than others.
It's not too shocking to see fans having some fun with the current landscape of the NHL, where photo editing is so easily accessible it allows fans to speculate what their favorite players would look like on their desired teams.
But it can also be used to poke fun at players from time to time, such as when Auston Matthews' main image on Google was a Reddit image that showed him with a funky new hairstyle.
Behind the Bald Look: What Sparked the Viral Photoshoot?
Well, we've seen that again but this time the hairstyle turns out to be pretty clean cut: Literally.
Thanks to user LeafsLatest on X, we were provided images of Toronto players if they were to have suddenly undergone a Samson and lost all of their hair with the results ranging from not bad to downright goofy.
What sparked this? Well, an offseason lull leads way to these types of humorous inquiries so why not lighten up the day to day activities?
First and foremost, we have our captain Auston Matthews:
Matthews stands stoic like a father who is tired of dealing with his children coloring on the walls, although he tends to pull the look off well.
Next up on the list we have the Swedish sensation William Nylander:
Nylander is presented as if he just got back or is going to boot camp as he silently focuses during the game. Nylander could also moonlight as a veteran Brooklyn cop with one day left until retirement.
Black coffee. Plain donut. No perps on his street.
Rounding out the players we have goaltender Joseph Woll:
Woll takes his youthful looks and turns somehow younger where the lack of hair turns him into a young kid who just had his head buzzed in the backyard.
His bright-eyed visage makes his baldness less of an indicator of age, and showing a more reckless nature.
Finally, we have Chief. The Boss. Mr. Shorts in February; Craig Berube:
It looks like the coach could moonlight in Vegas as a Telly Savalas impersonator, and if the Maple Leafs ever have a hand in a Kojak remake, they've got their man.
Fans Flood Social Media With Reactions to Leafs' New Look
Plus, of all the names shown with no hair, Berube is the one who arguably looks the scariest, as his glare coupled with a lack of a mop looks like he could snap at the drop of a hat; it's intimidating.
Fan reaction while quiet so far has been...less than receptive.
