The Toronto Maple Leafs posted video of head coach Craig Berube hyping up his team following the team's 2-1 overtime win against the New York Rangers.

Berube credited his team for the victory, praising his team for standing strong against a defensively responsible Rangers team that fought and made things difficult for the Leafs to get scoring chances.
Matthew Knies came through with the first goal for the Leafs before Jusso Parssinen tied things up for the Rangers. Auston Matthews ended things up in the end from an assist from William Nylander for the win.
The Leafs coach clearly felt happy with his team's performance, giving praise to the team as a whole for what has been a strong start to the season with a new-look roster.
What Craig Berube Said About The Maple Leafs Win
Craig Berube congratulated the team on the win, but did signal out one specific player for the effort as an important part of their victory, giving credit to Anthony Stolarz on a strong performance.
It's a great win, it's a [explicit] grind right now, it's a lot of hockey, right? It's a grind. You gotta [explicit] grind through it and you guys did that tonight, that's a good job on you guys.
Unsurprisingly, Stolarz was handed the game belt for his leadership against New York, giving a speech in similar vein to Berube's focus on the path forward being a grind.
Hell of an effort boys. We're going to have a lot of those two-one grind games where you grind it out. We got out of there with our two points, get our rest, and get ready for the next one.

Anthony Stolarz was a stalwart in net for the Leafs with 28 saves on 29 shots as Toronto moved to a 3-2-0 record on the season. Stolarz has been key so far to start the season for the Leafs, necessary for the Leafs to keep the grind up throughout the year.
Stolarz played through a number of difficult shots, and in one instance playing without his mask after it came off. After putting everything on the line for the Leafs tonight, Stolarz and Berube both make clear the grind goes on another day.
