The Toronto Maple Leafs projected lineup for tonight against the San Jose Sharks has been released.
Going up against San Jose (19-42-9), currently in last place in the NHL, the Toronto Maple Leafs (43-25-3) appear to be keeping it the same as the game prior, a 7-2 win against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The same lineup appears it will be rostered, according to the lines iced at Leafs morning skate.
Coming off a massive win against the Flyers, Toronto looks to keep its lineup intact from the match, with the only change in coming in net with
Joseph Woll, the starter in place of
Anthony Stolarz.
Once again,
Pontus Holmberg will play the part of the team's 13th forward, the second consecutive scratch for the 26-year-old who has six goals and 15 points in 58 games played this season for Toronto.
Cameron Lund, the second-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, 33rd overall, will make his NHL debut, having signed an entry-level contract a few days ago.
Toronto is 5-5-0 in their last 10 games, currently tied for first place in the Atlantic Division along with the Florida Panthers.
San Jose, in last place with just 47 points on the season, are in the NHL's basement, but are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games.
The two teams face off in San Jose tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. PST
