The Toronto Maple Leafs take Norwegian center Tinus Luc Koblar with the 64th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

Koblar, who plays for Leksands in the Swedish U20 Nationell, had eight goals and 21 points in 43 games this season.
Koblar is 6'3 and 187lbs, ranked 56th by NHL Central Scouting among European Skaters.
The 18-year-old was ranked 55th by Tony Ferrari of 'The Hockey News', and 64th by DobberProspects, but unranked by top scouts such as Bob McKenzie, Scott Wheeler, Corey Pronman, & Craig Button.
Koblar is a defensive-minded center with optimal skating and physicality, but lacks an offensive game. He played with Leafs pick Victor Johansson, drafted last year by Toronto.

Scouting Report On New Leaf Tinus Luc Koblar

Koblar was a player I did watch a few times this season, and in his games he didn't stand out beyond his size. There's a player who could grow a bit in terms of his defense, but not a player who appeared to be a potential NHLer.
Ethan Lindley of DobberProspects described Koblar as a raw player with room to grow in his game
Tinus Luc Koblar's package of tools is very enticing. The tall and lanky center combines sharp agility with very quick handles to exploit strong defenses. He also has moments of physicality that should only become more frequent and violent as he gets stronger.

Pension Plan Puppets describes Koblar too as a player with a lot of growth left in his game.
Koblar was a major "glitter guy" for me. He's a teammate of Toronto's own Victor Johansson with Leksands' junior team, who had the best record in the league.

Will Scouch talked about him a lot, but I only really started to notice him late in the season and especially in the playoffs when he was impossible to ignore.

He's big but has room to get bigger. He is a good skater with some issues that can be worked on. He's a good passer and playmaker. He uses his size well but has skill to go with his power. He is a hard worker and a good natural centre.
He could be a potential dark horse stud for the Maple Leafs, and his ability to play down the wing in transition and use his acceleration might just get him over the top as an NHL-caliber forward and his size doesn't undermine his offensive potential.
The selection of Tinus Luc Koblar is a very noticeable addition in size to the Toronto Maple Leafs roster which has been a priority of GM Brad Treliving after years of focusing on skill over size under his predecessor Kyle Dubas.
Koblar will take a few years to potentially get to an NHL level, but has some raw tools to take some strong steps in his future.
