The Maple Leafs have brought in a new face to the front office again with the hiring of Buffalo's Director of Professional Scouting, Jeremiah Crowe.
On Wednesday, the Maple Leafs added more front office firepower to Bay Street as they announced the hiring of former Buffalo Sabres Director of Professional Scouting Jeremiah Crowe:

Crowe spent the last four seasons as Director of Pro Scouting, while also being a scout for years prior. Crowe also spent time with the USNTDP team as a Director of Player Personnel. He will take over for Dave Morrison, who recently left the team.

What this means for John Chayka's staff is that there is going to be a person with the know-how to be a great mediator between the front office and the roster. He comes with a wealth of experience and the fact that the Maple Leafs were able to poach a rival executive is a great move from John Chayka.
There is not too much on Crowe besides the time in Buffalo and with the US Development Team though the German-born executive does have some NCAA hockey experience, playing for Clarkson University where he recorded five points in 91 games before transitioning into coaching then eventually scouting.
This adds to new names coming into the team like Judd Brackett and Freddie Hamilton meanwhile the team has seen some pretty important departures such as Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser, Darryl Metcalf, and Brandon Pridham - who just got hired by his old boss Kyle Dubas in Pittsburgh.
It just continues the Maple Leafs' trend of adding new front office people as they try to change every single aspect of the team from front office to the on-ice product and it's only a matter of time before we see what Crowe can offer to the team.
