The Maple Leafs could make a huge statement with a victory in Game 3 with the potential for a sweep; so here's the main things they need to do to get there.

It's been a great run so far for the Maple Leafs, and now they head into enemy territory looking to take one or potentially even both games.
Not only earning a sweep and setting the tone for the Conference Finals and setting up a potential Cup Finals appearance, but giving Florida a reality check when it comes to how they play.
But the team needs to get the wins first, and there are still a lot of questions around when or if Anthony Stolarz is going to come back, and whether or not the lineup can keep up this momentum.
One Leafs analyst believes there are a few key factors that could determine a victory in Florida, so let's break it down a bit.

How Toronto Can Escape Florida With At Least One Victory

First and foremost, the team needs to be better on the power play. So far in the series, they've had eight chances on the power play with only one goal; their normally staunch special teams has dried up a bit.
Florida is going to be undisciplined much more than the Leafs, so they need to capitalize on every advantage and pelt Sergei Bobrovsky with shots. We saw Mitch Marner float a wrister from the boards and score.
He is human and can easily be beaten with a flurry of chances and smart shots; stop passing so much and get the shot to the net.
The Panthers won't stop hounding Toronto in the offensive zone, and instead of trying to make the perfect play, make the right one instead; they have big bodies they can utilize and need to create havoc at every opportunity.
Secondly, and partially involving the first point, Toronto is going to need to keep the pressure on.
Toronto has consistently been able to beat the Panthers defenders in their own zone and are working hard to poke pucks loose and get a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 advantage.
It worked out in spades last game, where you saw multiple odd man rushes for Toronto leading to goals.
If they can keep dictating the pace and use their speed to make things miserable for Florida, it could be easy pickings going forward.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly; the line changes. Florida will get the matchups they want with the final change, so we need to see how Craig Berube is going to put things out on the ice.
Does he risk putting out his weaker lines only to see Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk staring at them? Or does he end up overworking his top players because Florida always seems to have the upper hand?
Either way it's something that Toronto is going to need to manage on the fly, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Berube change things up during the game, especially if he can find a weakness.
While these aren't ever going to guarantee the Maple Leafs a victory, they are a pretty good start to getting to that destination.
Florida won't be easy, but then again, neither will Toronto.
