The Leafs broadcaster had an enthusiastic call to Nylander's goal which put the nail in the coffin of the Ottawa Senators, and ensured Toronto moves on to round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs, now taking on the Florida Panthers.

His call on the empty net goal showcased the excitement of all Toronto Maple Leafs as the team has a dominant performance following a scare with Ottawa winning Games 4 and 5.

Bowen, who is known as "The voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs" called the Leafs final goal "happy days" as Toronto enters the second round, now to take on the Florida Panthers.

Toronto had a massive boost from two goals from Nylander, who was lucky to play as originally he was accidentally listed as a healthy scratch as the Leafs by mistake put his brother, Alex, in the lineup instead of William.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to take on the momentum of their Game 6 win to round 2 vs the reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.

The Leafs last played Florida in the 2023 playoffs, losing in five games in their second round matchup.
