Good Sign for the Maple Leafs as Max Domi Returns to the Ice at Camp

In a very good sign for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Max Domi was seen skating ahead of his teammates after being diagnosed with a lower body injury.
Domi was expected to be part of
Auston Matthews' line early in camp in order to ensure they have the most chemistry together before the season starts, but it seems that's put on hold for now, with
Matias Maccelli taking his place.
But on Friday it was a huge positive to see that Domi was on the ice skating with the team's development coaches ahead of the team's camp activities.
It looked like Domi was moving at a very good pace and any indication of a lower body injury doesn't seem to be holding him back too much, and he should be back in time for Toronto's first preseason game; and his shot looks top notch.
Domi, 30, had 33 points in 74 games for the Leafs last season (8 goals, 25 assists) while adding seven points in 13 playoff games (4 goals, 3 assists).
Why Max Domi Skating Is a Positive Sign for the Maple Leafs
While it's still early, it's a great sign to see that if the team is going to be dealing with any injuries, they have the right measures in place to make sure they heal up as quickly as possible.
It very well could have just been a pulled muscle or even a slight bone bruise which while not serious, would keep Domi from being actively 100% for a brief bit of time.
Seeing him on the ice is a very positive sign for a team who has to keep their health a priority if they want to succeed, and it seems like some fans are not only relieved but impressed with Domi's appearance.
So while we wait and see if Domi truly is 100% going into their first preseason game, if there were concerns about his health:
He's doing everything he can to convince us otherwise.
