BREAKING: We Now Know What's Wrong with Mitch Marner

As we reported a few minutes ago, Mitch Marner missed today's practice.

The Leafs' head coach Sheldon Keefe finally provided an explanation.

Sheldon Keefe Explains Why Marner Missed Practice

In a press conference, Keefe revealed that Marner was placed on the Injury Reserve, with a lower-body injury.

"Mitch Marner and Simon Benoit will be out ❌ tonight in Montreal.

Marner is day-to-day while Benoit is being scratched with the intention of keeping a right handed shot ( Liljegren) in the lineup."

As for Benoit, he's being scratch to make room for the Leafs' new addition, Joel Edmundson.
