The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent goaltender Joseph Woll to the minors.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have suffered some tremendous ups and downs between the pipes this year, after sending goaltender Ilya Samsonov down to the minors for performance issues, and then losing Joseph Woll to an injury.
Now, it appears the Leafs are close to having all three goaltenders back, as they announced that Joseph Woll will be heading to the minors on a conditioning stint for his return from injury.
The @MapleLeafs announced today that G Joseph Woll has been assigned to the @TorontoMarlies on a conditioning loan.
This means that goaltender Joseph Woll is likely getting very close to a return, and the Leafs will have to decide which duo they want to go forward with, as Martin Jones has also proved his worth in the absence of Woll and Samsonov.
