In breaking news, Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves has just shared his opinion on Morgan Rielly's upcoming suspension.

Reaves Believes Grieg Got Off Easy From Rielly Response

There is a lot of discussion on whether Morgan Rielly took things too far when Ridley Grieg took a slapshot on an empty net to seal the game Saturday night for the Senators. Now, Toronto enforcer Ryan Reaves shared his thoughts on the incident, saying that Rielly's response was appropriate.

Ryan Reaves, on the Ridly Greig empty-net slapshot: "If you rewind to when I came into the league he's probably still laying on the ice. I thought (Morgan Rielly's response) was appropriate. I don't see how a kid that young thinks it's appropriate to do something like that."

Rielly is set to have an in-person hearing with the Department of Player Safety to determine his punishment for the cross-check, which many believe will result in more games being given to Rielly than he deserves.

We await the official announcement on his suspension.
