BREAKING: Maple leafs call up emerging superstar to the roster

The reporter David Alter confirmed a few minutes ago that the Maple Leafs made a major roster move.

Maple Leafs Recall Marlies Star Goalie Dennis Hildeby to Replace Injured Martin Jones as Backup

The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe announced that they've recalled the young goaltender Dennis Hildeby from the Marlies to be Ilya Samsonov's backup tonight, as Martin Jones is hurt.

Keefe also mentionned that Timmins is out indefinitely with mono and that both Giordano and Kampf will play.

Hildeby has been solid with the Marlies this season. He has a 12-7-4 record, a
0.913 SV% and a GAA of 2.35.

He was called up by the Leafs earlier this season, but didn't get the opportunity to play his first NHL game yet.
