NHL to Warn Red Wings and Canucks After the Morgan Rielly/Ridley Greig Incident?

image
The acclaimed insider Elliotte Friedman, revealed that the NHL could warn the teams to not engage in old-school retaliation.
With Morgan Rielly's recent incidident, where he hit an opponent who scored an empty-netter with a slap-shot, it's possible to think the NHL would like to stay away from that kind of incident for a while.
Warning teams that they could face repercussion is a great way to make sure that nothing senseless happens.
Elliotte mentions both teams will probably be warned before the game this week since the Rielly incident happened.
Updates will follow.
