McCabe Punished For Play On Marchand

Last night when the Bruins played the Maple Leafs Jake McCabe made this play.

I mean this has to be a meeting with Player Safety for Jake McCabe. Crosscheck to Brad Marchand's face far away from the play

Today it was announced that McCabe would face supplemental discipline for his hit.

Toronto's Jake McCabe has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Boston's Brad Marchand.

In addition to this, Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy was fined $5,000 for his hit on Tyler Bertuzzi.

Boston's Charlie Coyle has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Toronto's Tyler Bertuzzi.

Thankfully it is not a suspension and McCabe will be able to continue to compete for the Leafs.
