The NHL's commissioner Gary Bettman reached an official verdict on Margan Rielly's appeal concerning his five-game suspension.

NHL Uphelds The Department of Player Safety's Decision and Morgan Rielly Remains Suspended for Five Games

In breaking news, Gary Bettman confirmed that Rielly will need to serve a five-game suspension for his hit on Ottawa Senators' Ridley Greig after his controversial empty-net goal.
Rielly is set to return on Thursday, as the Leafs face Vegas Golden Knights.
Per Chris Johnston:
"Morgan Rielly's five-games suspension has been affirmed by NHL commissioner Gary Bettman.

He's eligible to return to the #leafs lineup on Thursday."
