Rumor: Toronto Maple Leafs on the verge of making a huge coaching change

The Toronto Maple Leafs were off to a great start in 2024, but in their last three games, they have blown the lead each time.
According to a report this morning, the Leafs President and GM will have a meeting on the future of the Leafs organization, more specifically, theirt coaching staff.

A contending team does whatever they can do to be able to compete in the post season. Regardless of relationships with people within the organization, it may be time for the Leafs to let go of Sheldon Keefe. Time's run out and just because he got the Leafs out of their first round hurdle, they still haven't really accomplished much in the Matthews Era. With coaches like Craig Berube, Bruce Boudreau, Dean Evason all on the market, perhaps the Leafs should be looking at a coaching change. Fans seem open to the idea of adding the former Blues coach.
