Pat Maroon Has Words For His Best Friend Ryan O'Reilly Ahead of Their Playoff Battle
The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning are one of the most interesting matchup in the first round.
Ryan O'Reilly and Pat Maroon won the Stanley Cup together with the Blues in 2019 and their friendship remained, even if they don't play in the same team anymore.
Maroon Has Words For His Best Friend O'Reilly Ahead of Their Playoff Battle
Both players are with serious Stanley Cup contenders and the competition will be fierce.
Pat Maroon commented the matchup against his best friend Ryan O'Reilly:
"It's going to be weird," said Maroon. "I just wish the best for him no matter what. We won together. He's honestly my best friend. I'm just so happy for him.
He gets an opportunity to play for the Stanley Cup again ... I'm not happy the Leafs got him, but happy he gets an opportunity to play in his hometown."
They will have to put their friendship aside for a couple of weeks, but it shouldn't have an impact on their camaraderie.
