Insider Unveils Toronto Maple Leafs' Trade Plans

In a recent segment on Sportsnet, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed that the Toronto Maple Leafs have been actively exploring the trade market for a new goalie.
"The Leafs have dipped their toes in the goaltending market," reported Friedman on the Saturday Headlines

Joseph Woll's injury and Ilya Samsonov's struggles are slowly forcing Treliving to consider adding a new member to the Leafs' goalie unit.
Friedman added that teams who have a surplus in goalies aren't going to let players go unless the right offer is made.
If the Leafs want to get one, they'll surely need to pay a hefty price.
Also, with the way that Samsonov has been playing, it's most probable that not a lot of teams will be interested. If Treliving wants to move him, he could be forced to sweeten the deal with a prospect or a pick.
