Another Option Comes Up for the Maple Leafs Following Kane's Signing in Detroit
Even with Kane off the market, there are still great free agents available that could help the Maple Leafs.
It looks like the forward wants to join a top team and doesn't mind signing for less money, especially considering he's still getting paid by the Wild after they bought out his contrat.
"Zach Parise had 21 goals last season. He's got to be waiting for a true contender because if he wanted, he could have signed anywhere for 1.5 plus"
Parise, 39, scored 879 points in 1224 NHL games. Having one last shot at winning the Stanley Cup could entice him to sign a contract.
He could add considerable depth to the Leafs' lineup, helping the team have a deep playoff run.
