The Toronto Maple Leafs have long been questioned for continuing to employ Sheldon Keefe, and after this latest comment, it's very easy to see why many fans and people in the media question that move.

Sheldon Keefe's shocking admission about his team

Right now, the Maple Leafs are riding a four-game losing skid as the head into battle with the Calgary Flames, and now, Sheldon Keefe has shocked the NHL world with a stunning admission.
«After 42 games, I still have questions about who I can rely upon.»

Given the intense scrutiny and noise from outside the organization, this one isn't going to go down well at all, and if the Maple Leafs continue to lose, it will be hard for the team and the front office to ignore any further.
While they currently sit in third place in the Atlantic Division, the Maple Leafs have just one point advantages over Detroit and Tampa Bay, so if Keefe can't turn things around soon, it may be another coach that has to come in and lead these players.
Keefe may have stars like Auston Matthews and William Nylander, but it's become more and more clear as of late that the holes on this roster are holding them back, and this is likely what he's referring too.
While Matthews, Nylander and Marner are all off to great starts statistically, they've not been able to help the team hold leads, and if Keefe can't trust the Core Four, it's tough to see who he can trust and how long he could remain in charge of this team for.
