The Toronto Maple Leafs are facing this huge issue regarding their success down the line.

Leafs Need Defense As Liljegren Goes Out

Liljegren was talking to a trainer and now he's off to the dressing room

Liljegren did not return to the game, and the severity of his injury is currently unknown.
Conor Timmins. Jake McCabe. And now, Timothy Liljegren. The Maple Leafs' defence is getting an early stress test as the injuries mount.

Leafs' fans have been notorious for wanting, sometimes without reason, to add a big defenseman that they think will solve all of their problems. Now, they might be right, as the Leafs are without Jake McCabe, Connor Timmins, and now Timothy Liljegren. Not to mention, the guy they are relying on right now is over 40 years old, though, that didn't matter last night as he potted an important goal.
