Marv Edwards had a lengthy hockey career where he spent time with the Leafs, Penguins, and Golden Seals. He passed away this past week.
Former Leafs Goalie Passes Away at 87
Marv Edwards was a pioneer of the game and played for the love of the game. Spending the majority of his career in the minors, he was able to finally make the NHL at 33 where he played for the Leafs, Penguins, and Golden Seals.
Spending the 1969-70 season with the Maple Leafs, Edwards posted a 3.23 GAA in 25 games helping the Leafs to 10 wins.
While Edwards' NHL career only lasted 61 games, he was able to make the NHL after years of dedication and was beloved by his teammates.
