Minten Named Captain Of Team Canada

Minten impressed Canada's management enough to be named the captain despite this being his first year at the World Juniors.
Bedard Sends A Message To Minten
After the news of Minten being named the captain was announced, Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard sent a public message to Minten congratulating him.
Bedard and Minten have been friends for a while now dating back to when the two were teammates at the West Van Academy Prep. Bedard, despite being eligible for the WJC, will sit back at home and watch as his former teammate will try and lead Canada to its third consecutive gold medal.
