Brad Treliving has had quite the busy offseason and one that has been rather successful. Aside from working on resigning superstars Auston Matthews and William Nylander, Brad Treliving has been busy.

A recent list has emerged showing the most impactful moves of the 2023 offseason and it reveals what is the best move Brad Treliving has made.



While Treliving signing Bertuzzi only ranks 4th, it gives some insight into how meaningful of a move it was.

The move is only behind two blockbuster trades that altered the outlook of the NHL and the biggest signing of the 2023 free-agency period.

The Importance Of This Offseason

This offseason, while Treliving's first with the Leafs, may be one of the most important of his Leafs career.

He has been tasked with bringing a team who cannot get over their hump to the Stanley Cup which is quite difficult. Toronto certainly had the talent to begin with but Treliving needs to find the perfect complimentary pieces.

He has decided to part ways with players like Ryan O'Reilly, Michael Bunting, and Luke Schenn in favor of Bertuzzi, Max Domi, Ryan Reaves, and John Klingberg.
