The Toronto Maple Leafs have come to a decision on their goaltending situation ahead of game two of their series against Tampa Bay. Sheldon Keefe continues to puzzle fans with his choices.
Samsonov to Start Game Two
Sheldon Keefe just announced that goaltender Ilya Samsonov will be starting in Toronto's crease for game two of Toronto's series against the Lightning.
Despite being pulled in favour of Joseph Woll during game 1, he still has the support of his head coach.
This is surprising to say the least considering the Leafs lost 7-3 last night with Samsonov starting. Hopefully Keefe knows what he's doing.
Samsonov has a career .895 in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
