There's been a major new development concerning Ilya Samsonov's salary arbitration filing.
Huge Discrepancy Between the Leafs and Samsonov
The numbers have finally been released to the public ahead of Samsonov's hearing on July 21st.
The Leafs' offer is $2.4 million, and Samsonov is asking for $4.9 million!
Both parties could reach a deal before the hearing, but time is running out, and they now have less than two days before involving a third party.
