A top Maple Leafs prospect has ditched Toronto for Russia which has left Leafs fans disappointed.
Der-Arguchintsev Signs In KHL
It was just announced that Leafs prospect Semyon Der-Arguchintsev has signed a two year contract with KHL team Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Der-Arguchintsev put up 40 points in 50 AHL games last season for the Toronto Marlies last year and came into one NHL game last season. He was drafted in the third round of the 2018 draft by the Leafs and played his junior hockey for the Peterborough Petes.
