BREAKING: Key Maple Leafs Player Makes First On-Ice Appearance Since Injury
The Maple Leafs are starting to see the end of their early-season injury-related struggles, as a key player returned to practice this morning.
Maple Leafs Get Major Reinforcement: Woll Returns to Practice
The goaltender Joseph Woll was on the ice for the first time since he got a high ankle sprain a month ago.
Per David Alter:
"Joseph Woll is doing some light work this morning. First time we've seen him on the ice since his injury.
He's in full gear, but they are being careful with movement."
No official date has been announced concerning his return to action.
With Samsonov in the AHL, Woll and Martin Jones should be the Leafs goalie duo for the rest of the season.
More updates are expected in the coming days and we'll keep you informed.
