A former Maple Leaf is now making his NHL return after five years of playing in the minors and Europe.

Holland Signs In Colorado

It was just announced that former Toronto Maple Leaf, Peter Holland, has returned to the NHL after signing a PTO with the Colorado Avalanche.
Holland most recently played in the NHL in 2017-18 with the New York Rangers but spent the past five years bouncing around the minors and European leagues.
Holland most recently played in 2021-22 with Djurgårdens IF of the SHL where he scored 0 goals and had 6 assists in 15 games.
Holland played 174 of his 266 career NHL games with the Maple Leafs scoring 25 goals and 63 points during his time in Toronto.
He will now try to prove himself worthy of an NHL contract with the Colorado Avalanche.
