Luke Schenn tried to impose the Leafs' physicality in a blowout 7-2 victory against the Lightning. Previously, Leafs GM Kyle Dubas was under fire by some who found he did not do enough to add a physical edge to the lineup.
The Toronto Maple Leafs bolstered their roster at the NHL trade deadline by adding grit to their lineup. To do so, they acquired Luke Schenn from the Canucks this set the stage for one of the best fights of the 2023 playoffs.
Schenn commented today on the fight showing his seven stitches on his forehead. He praised Jeannot's fighting skill and entertained the idea of a rematch.
Hopefully, we see more in tonight's Game 3 in Tampa Bay.
