One of the former teammates of Russian prodigy Matvei Michkov was asked about what it was like to play with someone of that caliber and did not give the response people were expecting.
When asked, the teammate elaborated on how Michkov refused to listen to higher ups within the team such as coaches and veteran players, as well as only doing what he wants and playing for his benefit.
"He doesn't listen to anything the veterans tell him, he doesn't listen to the coaches, he doesn't hesitate to laugh at them and send them away. He only does what he wants."
