John Tortorella is no stranger to media controversy, and often is called out for his strange decision making. However, we've never seen something quite like his most recent roster shakeup.

Tortorella Scratches Himself?

Instead of his usual spot as the bench boss for the Philadelphia Flyers, Tortorella will be viewing tonight's game from the press box with Interim GM Daniel Briere. His assistant coach Brad Shaw will run the bench tonight.

While Tortorella's decision to get an alternate angle of his team's play makes sense, it's not a choice we're used to seeing. Hopefully Tortorella can find whatever he's looking for from his team up top tonight.
