Rangers Forward Mysteriously Leaves a Piece of His Face on the Ice
Barclay Goodrow has had a rough night, with a puck flying directly into his face. While he certainly lost a few teeth, his injury may have lost him even more.
New York Rangers Grinder Barclay Goodrow Takes a Puck to the Face and Leaves a Mysterious Piece of Skin on the Ice
Goodrow, who signed a long-term deal with the Rangers after having won a Cup in Tampa, has been a mainstay on the teams' fourth line. Tonight, he saw a puck hit him right in the face, knocking out a few teeth, and leaving an odd piece of skin (or mouthguard?) on the ice.
Unfortunately for Goodrow, this knocked him out for the night.
UPDATE: Barclay Goodrow (upper body) will not return tonight.
Many are now wondering what that piece of face really was. Hopefully it isn't as gruesome as it seems, but we'll have to wait and see!
