In breaking news, this NHL veteran goalie has been placed on waivers by the New Jersey Devils.
Kinkaid Placed on Waivers by the New Jersey Devils
There weren't many waiver announcements today, however, the one that was made was fairly important. Veteran goaltender Keith Kinkaid, 34, has been placed on waivers by the New Jersey Devils.
Placed on NHL waivers today: Keith Kinkaid (NJ).
Kinkaid has spent time with several teams in the NHL, and this is his second time around with the Devils. He has also played for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, and Colorado Avalanche.
Kinkaid is in a unique position with regard to where he lands in the AHL, as he has already signed with the Chicago Independent before signing with the Devils. If he clears, he will be assigned there.
As previously reported, Kinkaid would go to Chicago if he clears.
