There hasn't been much to report about the negotiations between Caufield and the Habs. Except now.
Earlier today, a hint was published on Twitter.
Caufield Gives Big Hint on his Future in Montreal
During a live on his dog's Instagram account, a user asked Caufield to pet his dog if he was staying in Montreal.
A couple of seconds later, he did it.

After being drafted in 2019 by Montreal at the 15th pick, he took part in 123 games in the NHL. In those, he managed to score 84 points, including 53 goals.
At 22 years old, Caufield proved he's an elite goal scorer that can make games balance on his way with his powerful shot. He's ready to become the face of the franchise, alongside all the young players in the organization.
