NEWS: #MNWild Jared Spurgeon is done for the season due to injury.

He is scheduled to have left hip surgery on February 6 and will then have back surgery approximately 4 weeks later.
Spurgeon, 34, is in the 4th year of a seven-year contract with the Wild. The Wild hope these surgeries will set Spurgeon up to be more effective next season when the Wild are expected to be a better and more competitive team.
