It has been reported for a few days that the Maple Leafs would sign Ryan Reaves in free agency. We now know the steep price they will pay.

Per reports, Ryan Reaves has signed a three-year deal in Toronto.
The deal will carry an annual average value of $1.3-million.
This deal is completely buriable in the AHL, but it is still a lot to pay for the 36 year old.
