Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice updated fans and media about his lineup after speculation the team is dealing with some injuries ahead of Game 3.

The Maple Leafs and Panthers are set to square off from Amerant Bank Arena in Florida, the Canadian side is looking to make it a 3-0 series lead against the reigning Stanley Cup Champions.
While it hasn't been easy for Toronto, they were able to pull out two victories at home and managed to weather a Panthers team that has been as relentless as they have been reckless.
No doubt that style of play is not conducive to giving players any respite, and Paul Maurice is already potentially dealing with some injuries to some key players ahead of Game 3.
Well now we know who exactly those key players are, and how this can affect the team going forward.
It seems that Maurice has decided to take out three of his bottom line players and it's a necessary change it seems for a Florida team who has to make a statement before it gets to be panic time.

Paul Maurice Opts To Go With Size In Game 3

While they might be dealing with injuries as well, it seems Maurice wants a better look defensively with Nosek down the middle, while Greer and Gadjovich can dictate the pace with their physicality.
Toronto on the other hand is running with a full squad for what feels like the first time in forever, and while they have been able weather most things Florida has thrown at them, they are still without Anthony Stolarz.
Maurice is going to need everyone on board Friday night, and players like Tomas Nosek, Gustav Forsling and notorious Maple Leafs enemy Brad Marchand need to pick things up.
Marchand has been good, but needs to score more, and both Sturm and Boqvist are pointless in seven games with a combined minus-6 rating.
If Florida can't weather the storm that Toronto is going to bring, especially with the extra physicality and defense in tow, then it's going to be tough to come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Ottawa nearly did it, and Florida certainly has the chops to do so as well.
But if they are going to be messing around with the lineup and still not find success then it's going to be a long road back to glory for the former Stanley Cup Champions, if they get there at all.
