The Maple Leafs are behind 0-2 in their series against Florida. This isn't encouraging, but nothing is over until it's over. In the past, we have seen many comebacks that started with less hope.

Every night, it seems the Leafs are close to victory, but it's pulled from under them by the Panthers and their player of the hour : Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Russian goalie seems to have found his momentum back, and his performances are simply incredible. In the two games against Toronto, he has a 0.945 save percentage and a 2 GAA.

The Leafs didn't go easy on him, shooting 73 pucks at him in two games.


On that matter, James Mirtle, a writer for The Athletic, just shed light on an important statistic that shows how the Leafs are actually dominating the Panthers and would probably win if it weren't for Bobrovsky.
