After years with the Blackhawks, Kane was moved to the Rangers a season ago, and despite all the excitement, the team weren't able to make it out of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Now, Kane has spent this summer getting healthy, and when he's ready to return, it's expected that at least half of the teams around the league will pursue him for the remainder of the season.
Despite recent links to Buffalo, New York, Detroit, Florida and many other teams, there's been few teams in the West linked to Kane, until now that is.
With a wide open playoff race, perhaps it's best for Kane to go West, and now, Elliotte Friedman has admitted he'd put money on Kane landing in Dallas, and with great goaltending and an elite forward group full of talent and depth, this would make them a genuine favourite in the conference.
