The Stars and the Wild played the first game of their series yesterday night. In a tight matchup, Minnesota won in the second period of overtime.

During the game, Joe Pavelski was on the receiving end of a vicious hit by Mat Dumba.

Dumba Could Face Consequences for Dangerous Hit

Pavelski was in the corner of the offensive zone and received the hit after he threw the puck.
The Stars' veteran had to get medical attention and Dumba received a two-minute penalty for roughing.
