Dallas Stars' Leading Forward Forced To Join The Military
One of the Stars' top players will be joining the military soon.
Last season, the Dallas Stars' top line of
Jason Robertson,
Roope Hintz, and Joe Pavelski established themselves as one of the best in all of hockey.
With Robertson leading the way with 109 points, Pavelski was not far behind with 77 and Hintz was over a point a game with 75 points in 74 games.
With this line's dominance, the Stars will look to keep it together for the foreseeable future but one player's duties may intervene.
In Finland, every male citizen needs to complete mandatory military service. With Hintz being Finnish himself, he also needs to complete his service.
Hintz revealed when he intends on completing his service.
"I haven't joined the army yet. It's still ahead" - Translated Hintz quote
Hintz has yet to speak with the Stars about his military service but with so many Finnish hockey players in the NHL, there should be little issue with Hintz joining the military.
