The rumours involved Connor Bedard's mother for quite some time before that was officially expelled, and now, all we seem to know is that whatever story is out there doesn't tell us everything that happened. As Mark Lazarus of The Athletic notes, there's plenty that the public doesn't know, but until they know the entire story, they won't be revealing all of that.
The suggestion that the Oilers may not know the whole story is incredibly intriguing, especially after the signing of Stan Bowman as the GM, as it could be another PR nightmare for this team, but for now, all we know is that the story is likely to be worse in its entirety compared to what we currently know.
