Yesterday, Samuel Savoie, a 19-year-old prospect for the Chicago Blackhawks, had a violent collision with the boards. He was screaming in pain and was rushed to the hospital, leaving the ice on a stretcher.

The Chicago Blackhawks released an update on Savoie's status.
MEDICAL UPDATE: Samuel Savoie remains in Minnesota for further medical care following a lower-body injury suffered during last night's game.
