Bedard displayed flashes of his immense talent by executing spectacular moves, but Montreal's defense was all over him.
Habs fans didn't make Bedard's evening any easier; they booed him every time he touched the puck.
Bedard Reacts to Habs Fans Booing Him
After the game, the young prodigy was asked by reporters to comment on the Canadiens' fans' reception.
"Connor Bedard on being booed: 'No, I loved it. It was great. I didn't really think about it before the game, but I thought it was awesome.'
As you can see, Bedard didn't expect it, but he loved it!
