Bedard Breaks His Silence On Rumored Affair
While in Winnipeg today Connor Bedard was asked about Corey Perry and the rumors with his mother. Bedard answered the questions maturely although the rumors affected him and his family.
Winnipeg media asked Connor Bedard about the impact of the Perry «rumors» today. Frankly, I don't think this was an appropriate time to do so. But I do think his response is worth posting:
«It's just a bunch of BS on the internet. It's of course been an affect on myself and my family, and that's not fair. But it's out of our control. It's all just fake, made-up stuff.»

Bedard sounds as though he has taken things in stride for the most part and moved past the incident. He has been playing at an all-world level as of late and is the favorite for the Calder Trophy.
He gets his next chance to put on a show against the Winnipeg Jets tomorrow afternoon at 3pm eastern.
