Rumour: Puljujarvi Moments Away From Leaving the NHL for Good
When the fourth overall pick of the 2016 draft changed teams back at the trade deadline, many fans were happy to see him get a fresh start with a new team.
In Edmonton, it looked complicated for him. Playing with superstars and in a market like this at 18 years old aren't ideal conditions to grow.
However, with the Carolina Hurricanes, things didn't go so well either.
With two assist in 17 games with the Canes, he didn't prove to the organization that he deserves a new contract. Now that he's UFA, the rumours are saying that he'll leave the NHL.
Puljujarvi to Pursue his Career in Europe?
Reports suggest that unless another team decides to give Puljujarvi a chance, he'll go play in Russia or Finland.
"Jesse Puljujarvi is unlikely to receive a qualifying offer from the Hurricanes, and will likely become an unrestricted free agent. Per, Frank Seravalli.
